7-2-20   THOUGHTS

It is not healthy for the Christian to go very long without thoughts of END THINGS.
I can get caught up in the here and now, and lose sight of GOD’S PLANS for my eternity.
Simply...
Matt 25:46   "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

2Thes 1:9   These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
Php 3:20   For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;
1Thes 1:10 and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, [that is] Jesus, who rescues us from the wrath to come.
1Pet 1:4 to [obtain] an inheritance [which is] imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
Rev 3:12 ‘He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
Rev 21:4   And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
My life as I wait...
Matt 18:3  and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matt 18:4  "Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matt 13:44  "The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid [again;]  and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
2Cor 5:2    For indeed in this [house] we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,
Col 1:5 because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel
Truly God has given us HOPE.  Hope is future oriented and
our FUTURE IS AWESOMELY REVEALED BY OUR GOD!

My Prayer:
Oh God, we praise your great name and exalt you to the highest place.  Thank you for the hope of heaven.  Thank you for Jesus who makes that hope real and possible.  Your mighty love has absorbed us in your son’s great victory.  We long to be with you forever.  Comfort us as we live with this awesome view of our future.  Give us heaven we pray and help to eagerly wait for it this day.
In Jesus name                Amen
